"We stopped here with friends visiting from the Czech Republic and can honestly say the coffee was absolutely delicious. The pumpkin spice latte was full of flavor and perfectly balanced. What impressed us most was the service — we asked about the pumpkin spice flavor, and while the barista explained she couldn’t sell it, she went out of her way to find two empty jars and shared some with us. That kind of thoughtful and genuine service is truly rare these days. Highly recommended — both for the coffee and the amazing staff!"

"Lovely lovely coffee shop with really sweet baristas! They whisk their matcha, it’s not sweetened, and no clumps! Yay! We got an iced matcha with oat milk and tried the apple cinnamon matcha with cold foam (be sure to ask for plant milk in the cold foam bc the default is cows milk!!) - barista was knowledgeable and kind when we told her we vegan and appreciate her watching out for us 🌱 Bonus: they have for here cups so you can avoid single use plastic! 👏🏼 They also have a drive through."

"I used to think they had the best coffee in Fargo especially with their pour overs. But the last 3 times I've been there the coffee (both drip and pour over) were brewed so strong I couldn't even taste the flavor notes, it was just an overpowering bold coffee with no nuance. Made me very jittery afterwards too. I kept giving it another chance thinking it was a new employee or an off day but it's obvious they've changed their protocol. Some staff are very friendly, others are just okay. Ambiance is nice."

"My family was looking for some coffee before we left for our drive back home and we decided to come here. I’m very happy we did because it’s so cute, the workers are very friendly, the food is good, and the coffee is fantastic! I love how they make their own syrups in house too. I got the candied almond latte with almond milk and it is amazing! I am very impressed. The next time I’m in West Fargo I will make sure I come back to Thunder Coffee!"

"Couldn’t have had a better first impression of this place! I was on the hunt for a coffee shop with a chill vibe and good energy and that’s exactly what I found. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile. The atmosphere was immediately inviting and friendly. I was very indecisive with lots of questions about the menu and the staff was very helpful with recommendations. Also loved the aesthetic in here 💕🌿 Will definitely be back when I’m in the Fargo area again."
