Third Wheel Coffee

"Coffee bar that shares the same space as a sandwich shop. Stopped by here for brunch with my boyfriend and it was a delicious spot. They had matcha and coffee options (in addition to affogato). Both our lattes were incredibly smooth and tasty. We grabbed a chocolate mochi muffin as well as a ham and cheese croissant. There wasn’t any seating so we went to the park nearby to eat on the grass. You pay first before receiving your order on the right hand side of the counter. Highly recommend this spot for grabbing takeout caffeine in the morning."

"Ich kann die guten Bewertungen leider nicht nachvollziehen. Ich habe mir einen Iced Vanilla Latte geholt und er hat leider nur nach Wasser geschmeckt. Nicht süß, kein kräftiger Kaffee Geschmack. Sehr schade. —- Nach einem Austausch mit Tom möchte ich meine Bewertung gerne anpassen. Auch wenn ich leider einen schlechten Tag erwischt habe, ist der Kundenservice TOP und mir wurde mein Geld erstattet. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in San Francisco kommen wir nochmal vorbei :)"

"Simply the best coffee in this area. Core quality (beans, espresso pulls) is excellent, plus everything "on top" is delicious and inventive in all their drinks I've tried. The famous Blackberry Crumble Cappuccino (seasonal, locally-sourced blackberries) and Strawberry Rhubarb Matcha are good examples of this. The Third Wheel people have true attention to quality and detail. Not to mention they are super nice and enjoyable humans!"

"I don’t usually post reviews, but the positive energy I received when visiting today was a great start to my day! The PB cookie and vanilla pine latte were perfect (subtle enough to not overpower the espresso flavor). I told them I’m visiting a new coffee shop in the city after my appointments but I’ll definitely come back next time to try more of their menu. Thank you, Third Wheel Coffee ☺️"

"Vida and Thomas are total pros. They’re experts in their craft, service and an excellent addition to our neighborhood events. They served hot drinks at our local Page Street pancake party and pop-up screen printing event. Friendly to work with, prompt and reliable. They are an excellent addition to the traditional coffee/cafe scene in Lower Haight And the surrounding areas!"
