Soloway coffee

"Unfortunately, my experience at Soloway Coffee was quite disappointing. The coffee was just okay, and the matcha was not good—it lacked flavor, and the cup it was served in was stained. Seating inside is very limited, and the atmosphere felt pretty dull. The barista wasn’t friendly or attentive. To make matters worse, my order was wrong—I asked for a tuna melt and was given a croissant with egg instead. Not happy at all with the mix-up. Also, parking is paid, which just adds to the overall inconvenience. Definitely not a place I’d return to!!!"

"I've been going here on and off since September and although I'm not the biggest fan of the coffee, the food is good. Main issue has been found with the matcha, 2 grams is less than adequate, especially when most other coffee shops use 3-4 grams. Got an iced matcha recently and asked how many grams were in the latte since I couldn't taste the matcha at all. It truly just tastes like milk. The quality of the tea itself is great but it would be great for them to increase the amount of matcha being used."

"I usually come here for the pistachio croissant, which I love. Today, unfortunately, they didn’t have it, so I decided to try almond croissant that looked good but it turned out to be completely dried out. I have no idea how long it had been sitting on display, but it was definitely not fresh. I took one bite and had to throw it away. Even the regular coffee was already cold. I wonder if the staff themselves would eat or drink what they’re serving to customers. It’s really disappointing."

"The best part of this place was the pistachio croissant. The coffee and matcha are terrible. Watered down coffee and matcha tastes like plain milk. My hazelnut latte was room temperature coming out. The avocado toast was topped with scrambled eggs then poached eggs and green beans. Why? Also if you’re thinking of stopping in on the weekend expect to rub shoulders with one too many people. It’s small and there’s not a lot of seating available to dine in."

"Drop everything you're doing, go to Soloway and get shakshouka and a cortado. Thank me later. The shakshouka was fresh, tasty, and served with amazingly crispy bread. My cortado had hardly any bitter or acidic notes, it was just nutty and bright and exactly what I needed before work! Also shoutout to whichever barista managed to put fancy art in my tiny lil cortado 🤯 Go to Soloway! Now! They even have a lil takeout windows for people sitting outside! What else do I need to say?!"
